Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

If you owe a debt, check this page for answers to common questions.

I know that I owe money, but don’t have sufficient funds to pay now.  Do you take payment plans over time?

In a word, yes.  Nearly every client allows us to structure repayment plans to settle balances placed with us.

What do I need to provide in order to show a basis to request a reduced amount on a payment plan?

Typically, we ask for 2 months of account statements from your bank/credit union and 2 consecutive pay stubs (if you are working).

I’ve been garnished and my employer/bank says I need to get your approval for any modification or dismissal.  How do I do that?

Please submit to us your most recent 2 pay stubs if yours was a garnishment at your employer.  If the garnishment was at your bank, credit union, or other financial institution, please obtain and submit a transaction history from today’s date going back at least 60 days. Dismissals are rare, but any discussion of dismissal or modification requires that we first see exactly what is likely to be captured in the garnishment by reviewing those records.
